PRO CYCLING MANAGER 2014 GUIDE

Multiplayer
Multiplayer modes
There are several online multiplayer modes available in Pro Cycling Manager 2014. You can compete in a track race, a stage race or a single stage.

When you start a multiplayer game you access a card system which is called "Armada" mode, the cards are riders you can use in your online games and you can access new cards and riders during your games. The objective is to form a team using these cards to compete against other players.
1) This screen displays your full "deck" of riders and the cards are automatically ranked from the strongest to the weakest rider.

2) Here, you form your team for the race by dragging and dropping the cards in your deck into this area. You can click the cross next to each card to remove it.

3) This shows the number of coins you have available to buy new cards.
Ranked games offered a balanced racing experience in order to encourage challenges: access to the top riders will be unlocked progressively as the games progress and the number of stars allowed in a race squad is limited. Races will therefore be more competitive and good managerial talents will be essential if you are to reach the top of the world rankings!

Multiplayer mode can also be played without collecting cards: a Track mode is available as well as a Tour mode, which is played with the teams of the OfficialRelease.cdb database (not your career team).
Play with the official teams
You can play a game with the official teams at any time and you will then move over to the card system. To do this, select the option "Play with the official teams" when you launch a multiplayer game and you can now compete in the event with your favourite team!
1) Here you have the option to opt to play with the official teams. You will automatically play with your own deck.

2) The terrain of the stage you have selected is displayed here, with information on its length, inclines, descents, etc.

3) You can select the stage you want to compete in here.
